About Us

Mollösunds Wärdshus is a historic inn located at the tip of Orust, right in the middle of the old fishing village of Mollösund. The kitchen is the heart of everything we do, and we cook honest, seasonal food with the sea and Bohuslän as our pantry.

About the Role

We are looking for a Head Chef who wants to lead and shape our kitchen – responsible for the menu, quality, and daily operations, and acting as the hub in a small, tight-knit team. Here, it is fast-paced, busy, and above all, a lovely group of people who enjoy working together.

Employment

Seasonal employment with immediate start – full speed during the summer, and more focused on weekends, events, and conferences during the autumn. Full-time or part-time by agreement, salary by agreement.

Ideally, you live on Orust and can step in as the responsible chef when needed – both during the summer rush and for autumn events.

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop menus based on season and ingredients
• Responsible for cooking and quality at all levels
• Lead, schedule, and mentor the kitchen team
• Manage purchasing, costing, and cost control
• Ensure food hygiene and self-control (HACCP)

Qualifications

• Experience as a chef, preferably in a leadership role
• Ability to lead a team and keep calm in a high-paced environment
• Sense for ingredients, quality, and guest experience
• Good knowledge of Swedish or English
